NCRTC begins trials on second section of RRTS

will include stations at Muradnagar, Modinagar (North), Modinagar (South) in Ghaziabad, and Meerut (South) in Meerut district. The entire 82km RRTS corridor, connecting Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Meerut, is expected to be operational by June 2025. The project aims to offer high-speed connectivity to passengers with 'Namo Bharat' trains, which have a design speed of 180 kmph. Currently, 12 such trains are stationed at the Duhai depot in Ghaziabad.
