four extra train sets on lines 2A and 7. Western Railway confirmed that platforms 3 to 8 at Borivali station remained operational. The faulty points are being repaired, and restoration work is underway to resume normal operations. Borivali is a major hub in north Mumbai, with daily operations of over 1,300 suburban services carrying around 30 lakh commuters. The Central Railway also resolved a 36-hour mega block on the central line, allowing train services to operate normally.

Borivali North Mumbai ka ek major hub hai, jahan daily 1,300 se zyada suburban services chalti hain aur around 30 lakh commuters travel karte hain.
