to Larsen and Toubro (L&T), covers 8.960 km of elevated viaduct, 37.920 km of at-grade section, and associated works between Heelalige and Rajanukunte. The project is expected to cost Rs 1,040.51 crore and will take 30 months to complete. Notably, the contract also includes a 1.2 km double-decker alignment near Yelahanka for BSRP Corridor-1 and Corridor-4, and a 500 m elevated viaduct below the BMRCL viaduct near Benniganahalli, showcasing a shared right of way between BSRP and BMRCL. This is also a first-of-its-kind project in India. The project is part of the BSRP's phase-1 priority corridors, with Corridors 2 and 4 already underway. Loans from KfW Germany and the European Investment Bank (EIB) are secured, and tenders for Corridors 1 and 3 are expected soon. The South Western Railways is expected to hand over 115.5 acres of land for Corridor-4 shortly.
