Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria said that the stations are being developed as commercial hubs, so that they can also serve as commercial centers, benefiting both the railway and the general public. To make it easier for passengers to access the platforms, a 12-meter wide foot-over bridge is being developed as an air concourse, similar to Rani Kamalapati railway station. The stations are also being equipped with lifts and escalators for passenger convenience, especially for the elderly and people with disabilities. To protect passengers from rain and sun, covered sheds are being erected on the platforms. A Coach Guidance Display System is being installed to provide passengers with accurate information about their train and coach positions. Modern signage boards are being put up at the stations for directions and information, similar to those found in malls, to help passengers easily navigate the station.
