Chandrapura ke senior citizen Jadu Mahato ka kehna hai ki Chandil jaise chhote station par Tata-Patna Vande Bharat ka thahraav de diya gaya aur train wahaan par rukne lagi par Dhanbad mandal ka pramukh aur rajaswa dene wala station hone ke bawajood Chandrapura ki upenaksha kar di gayi hai. DVC ke retired karmi Arvind Sinha ka kehna hai ki Vande Bharat ka thahraav yahaan par diye jaane se na sirf vidyutnagari Chandrapura balki sampurn Bermo koylaanchl ke yaatriyon ko labh hota. CPI neta Islam Ansari ka kehna hai ki jab bhi koi nayi train ka parichalan shuru hota hai usmein Chandrapura station ki upenaksha ki di jaati hai. Samajik karyakarta aur Jharkhand Navnirman Morcha ke adhyaksh Ganesh Baranwal ne kaha ki railway yahaan par dono trainon ka thahraav deta toh Patna, Varanasi aadi jagah par aane-jaane mein is kshetra ke yaatriyon ko suvidha hoti aur railway ki aamadani bhi badhti.
