The villagers demanded their land be demarcated first, following which the railway can demarcate its own. Due to the protest, the railway administration left without conducting the demarcation. Villagers had previously filed complaints regarding the demarcation issue with the Rourkela Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Rourkela SP, Odisha Chief Minister, and the Union Minister for Tribal Development. The villagers are angered by the railway administration's attempt to carry out the demarcation without addressing their concerns.

Graminon ne maang ki hai ki unki zameen ka demarcation pehle kiya jaaye, phir railway apna zameen ka demarcation kare. Graminon ke virodh ke baad, railway administration bina demarcation ke hi laut gaya. Graminon ne pehle bhi demarcation issue ke baare mein Rourkela Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Rourkela SP, Odisha Chief Minister, aur Union Minister for Tribal Development ko shikayat ki thi. Gramin log railway administration ke is prayas se bahut naaraaz hain ki unki baat sunne ke bina demarcation kiya jaaye.
