According to the Railway Police, three children, Anita, Usha, and Sarathi, daughters of Kamlavati Devi from Palamau, were kidnapped on August 24, 2019. Despite clear footage of the accused in CCTV footage, the Railway Police are still seeking information regarding their whereabouts. However, on December 14, 2023, the Railway Police recovered a nine-month-old baby, Riya Singh, who was stolen from the Tatanagar Station pathway. Based on CCTV footage, half a dozen suspects were arrested and imprisoned.

alag-alag jilon mein chhapamaari ki thi, lekin bachchi nahin mili. Tab ke SP Rishabh Jha ne bachchon aur aaropoon ka pata batane par 25 hazaar ka inaam diya tha, aur naam-pata chupane ka waada bhi kiya tha. Railway Police ke mutabiq, Palamau ki Kamlavati Devi ki teen bachchiyan Anita, Usha aur Sarathi ka apaharan 24 August 2019 ko hua tha. CCTV footage mein aaropee saaf dikhne ke bawajood aaropoon ki girftaari nahin hone se Railway Police jaankaari prakaashit kar raha hai. Lekin, 14 December 2023 ki raat Tatanagar Station pathway se chori hui Baby Singh ki nau mahine ki bachchi Riya Singh ko Railway Police ne Gamharia se baramad kiya aur CCTV footage ke aadhaar par aadha darjan aaropoon ko pakad kar jail bhi bheja hai.
