The railway union, SEZ OBC Employees Union, met with the Senior Divisional Personnel Officer seeking clarification. The Senior Divisional Personnel Officer clarified that there is no pressure to join the scheme, and those who choose not to are not required to sign any disagreement forms. The letter, issued on April 9th, has been circulating on various WhatsApp groups.

employees mein yeh samjha gaya ki unhe phir se LIC group term insurance lena hoga. Par railway insurance thone ke baare mein bolta hai aur keh raha hai ki yeh sirf optional scheme hai. Railway union, SEZ OBC Employees Union, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer se mila tha clarification ke liye. Senior Divisional Personnel Officer ne clear kiya ki scheme mein join karne ka koi pressure nahin hai, aur jo log join nahin karna chahte hain unhe koi disagreement form sign nahin karna hoga. Letter, 9 April ko issued hua tha, aur abhi different WhatsApp groups mein circulate ho raha hai.
