prepared by a Delhi-based architecture agency, envisions a three-story building on both station gates, with a pathway above and a subway below. The first floor will house amenities like retiring rooms, dormitories, and other passenger facilities, while the second and third floors will accommodate commercial establishments. Additional features include a new platform between the two lines on the Burmamines side, a flyover on the main road, a ring road, a security wall, a cinema hall, a three-star hotel, a sky lounge, branded restaurants, escalators and lifts on the platforms, multi-level parking, a park, and a fountain. The redevelopment project is expected to take one to two years to complete. The project is starting with the removal of illegal encroachments and fencing off the land.
