more... year's budget, Madhya Pradesh received a record allocation of 15,143 crores. Plans are in place to transform 80 stations into world-class facilities. Last August, Prime Minister Modi laid the foundation stone for the redevelopment of 34 stations in Madhya Pradesh as part of the 'Amrit Bharat Station' scheme. Among these, 11 stations belong to the Bhopal Division: Itarsi Junction, Guna, Ganjbasoda, Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Biaora Rajgarh, Shivpuri, Ruthiyai, Banapura, Vidisha, Narmadapuram, and Harda. On February 26th, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the redevelopment of 550 railway stations and 1,500 railway flyovers/underpasses via video conferencing. This includes 5 stations, 4 overbridges, and 2 underpasses in the Bhopal Division. The total cost of development projects in the Bhopal Division is 345.25 crores. The 5 stations selected under the Amrit Bharat Station scheme - Khirkiya, Sanchi, Bina, Ashoknagar, and Shajapur - will undergo development works costing 234.29 crores. In addition, 4 ROBs will be constructed in the Bhopal Division, costing 97.89 crores. These ROBs will be located at the following locations: level crossing gate between Obaidullaganj-Itayakala (Bishan Kheda Gate), level crossing gate near Salamatpur (Badakpur-Gulgaon), level crossing gate near Sorai Yard (Sorai Gate), and level crossing gate near Kalhar Yard (Chhinnota Gate). Other projects include the level crossing gate at Ganjbasoda Yard (Hardu Khedi) and the level crossing gate near Ghatiagaon (Basota Road).
