The Railway Board Chairman has taken cognizance of the incident and statements are being recorded from the train's running staff. Gaurav Tikait, son of Rakesh Tikait, was present on the train with members of the farmers' union and was questioned by railway officials. A report has been filed against unknown passengers at Phaphund station. The North Central Railway's General Manager has issued instructions to passengers to report any suspicious activity, including smoking, carrying flammable materials, and using electric kettles on charging points.
