To be eligible, bidders must have installed either 200 kW of grid-connected solar rooftop systems or 1 MW of any grid-connected systems, an average turnover of Rs 15 million per year for the past three years, and a positive net worth. The parent company's eligibility is also considered if it holds a minimum of 26% share in the bidding company. This follows similar bids by the Sonpur Division for 1.1 MW of rooftop solar projects and the South Eastern Railway for 8.383 MW of projects in Odisha, Jharkhand, and West Bengal.
