The budget also allocated 275 crore rupees for a 250 km railway line connecting Nagar, Beed and Parali, 300 crore rupees for doubling the 247 km Daund-Manmad railway line, and 200 crore rupees for doubling the 467 km Pune-Miraj-Lonavala line. These projects will benefit citizens of Sangola, Pandharpur, Kurduwadi and Karad talukas in Solapur district, improving rail connectivity between Solapur and Kolhapur districts. The budget also includes provisions for interest-free loans to states to boost tourism, benefiting Solapur, known for its spiritual tourism, and its pilgrimage sites like Pandharpur, Akkalkot, Tuljapur, and Ganagapur. The budget allocations will improve infrastructure in the Solapur division, increasing train frequency and improving passenger connectivity.
