The Parijaata Line (Kengeri to Whitefield) contract will follow a month later. The first segment, a 7.4 km stretch from Chikkabanavara to Yeshwantpur, is expected to be operational by December 2025, followed by the entire Corridor-2 by June 2026 and Corridor-4 by December 2026. The remaining two corridors are targeted for completion by December 2027. The BSRP, with 58 new stations, aims to connect Bengaluru to its satellite towns and surrounding areas via a rapid transit system.
