Due to a weather forecast predicting landslides on the Nilgiri Mountain Railway stretch between Kallar and Coonoor, all Mettupalayam-Udagamandalam train services have been cancelled for October 16 and 17. This includes train number 06136 departing Mettupalayam at 7:10 a.m. and train number 06137 departing Udagamandalam at 2:00 p.m.
