Tumkur, the fastest growing city in Karnataka after Bangalore, will receive a suburban railway, metro train, and circular train project to support its industrial development. The city has a 45,000-acre industrial corridor and will benefit from the proposed railway projects, including a Rs. 45,000 crore investment in railway infrastructure.
