The NWR is also planning to run more special trains on routes with high passenger volume during the festive season, particularly during Durga Puja, Dussehra, Diwali, and Chhath. They have already announced two long-distance festival special trains connecting Pune to Jaipur (Dheer Ka Balaji) and Pune to Jodhpur (Bhagat Ki Kothi).
