The Gadag-Wadi line is anticipated to be completed by 2028, while the Bagalkote-Kudachi line is expected to be finished by December 2026. The Tumakuru-Davanagere line requires 300 acres of land acquisition and infrastructure modifications in the Vasant Narasapur industrial area. The Tumakuru-Raichur line is progressing, with tenders for the Koratagere-Madhugiri section released this month. The Madhugiri-Madakashira section will be tendered in September. The Chikkamagaluru-Hadiyahalli-Belur project is fully land-acquired, with the first phase (Chikkamagaluru-Hadiyahalli) completed. The Hadiyahalli-Belur section is expected to be finished in a year. The Hassan-Belur project requires 509 acres of land, with the need for expedited land acquisition and tendering. The Shivamogga-Shikaripura-Ranebennur project faces delays due to the lack of documentation handover from the land department to the railway.
