Other cities ke liye 40% limit hai. Bengaluru ki IT sector bohot badi hai aur property prices bahut high hain, jisse log demand kar rahe hain ki Bengaluru ko metro city list mein include kiya jaaye. But government kehte hain ki exemptions dene se unki policy break ho jaayegi.

Yes granting Bengaluru the status may invite similar request from other cities like Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Pune, etc which the present government won't dare to do which wants to privatize everything.
