Some areas, like OMR and Mylapore, have yet to start construction due to issues like contract awarding and legal challenges. The CMRL is working to overcome these obstacles and resume construction soon.

Project 2026 aur 2028 ke beech alag-alag stages mein complete hone ki ummeed hai, jismein Porur-Poonamallee section 2025 ke end tak open ho jayega aur Thirumayilai interchange station 2028 mein open hoga.
