The RPF, along with the CIB team, conducted a raid at the PRS counter of New Jalpaiguri on July 2, apprehending one tout and recovering 18 e-tickets worth Rs. 48,383. On July 4, the RPF, with CPDS and GRP, apprehended two individuals at New Jalpaiguri station and recovered four stolen mobile phones worth Rs. 1,00,000. The NFR authority requests passengers to travel with valid tickets and advises them to dial 139 for assistance during train journeys.
