Nadu, including the extension of MEMU services to Podanur, the addition of a stop for MEMU services at Samalpatti, and the extension of Mysore-Mayiladuthurai Express to Cuddalore Port Junction. Additionally, he announced an increase in the frequency of Mayiladuthurai-Tiruchi trains. Local organizations in Coimbatore presented a petition to the Minister, requesting the development of Podanur Station as an additional terminal, including a brief halt for certain express trains, renaming the station as Coimbatore South Station, and other infrastructure improvements. They also proposed the extension of the Tiruchi-Erode Express to Karaikal and Coimbatore for improved pilgrim connectivity.

Tamil Nadu mein kai aur railway projects bhi announce kiye, jaise ki Podanur tak MEMU services ka extension, Samalpatti pe MEMU services ke liye ek stop add karna, aur Mysore-Mayiladuthurai Express ko Cuddalore Port Junction tak extend karna. Iske alawa, unhone Mayiladuthurai-Tiruchi trains ki frequency badhaane ka bhi announcement kiya. Coimbatore ki local organizations ne Minister ko ek petition di, jisme unhone Podanur Station ko ek additional terminal banane ka request kiya, jisme kuchh express trains ka brief halt, station ka naam Coimbatore South Station rakhna, aur aur infrastructure improvements shamil hain. Unhone Tiruchi-Erode Express ko Karaikal aur Coimbatore tak extend karne ka bhi proposal diya, jisse Western region se pilgrims ko Navagraha temples tak aasani se jaane mein madad milegi.
