police station. The incident took place on Monday evening when Lakshman, along with Sarita Devi, went to the Suthanian jungle to collect firewood. He then brutally murdered her by slitting her throat with a sharp knife. Sarita's body was discovered by police during the night. After the murder, Lakshman went to his parental home in Baracola village, but local villagers refused to let him stay. He was then tracked by the police, but fearing arrest, he took his own life. The family of Sarita performed her last rites on Tuesday. On Wednesday, they were informed that Lakshman had committed suicide. The Rikhia police are investigating the murder case.

Murder ke baad, Lakshman apne parental home Baracola village mein gaya, but local villagers ne usko rehne se mana kiya. Uske baad police ne usko track kiya, but arrest ke dar se, usne apni jaan le li. Sarita ka family ne Tuesday ko uske last rites perform kiye. Wednesday ko unhe pata chala ki Lakshman ne suicide kar liya hai. Rikhia police murder case ki investigation kar rahi hai.
