maqsad Indian Railways ki financial health ko badhana tha, jisko General Budget mein integrate karke aur infrastructure development ke liye long-term planning ko behtar banana tha. Isne transparency aur accountability bhi badhayi, policy coordination ko aasaan banaaya, aur resource allocation aur management ko behtar banaya. Yeh decision tab ke Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu ke proposal par aadharit tha, jinhone Niti Aayog commission ki recommendation ko prapt kiya tha aur Indian economy aur Railways ke liye merger ki maang ki thi.
