The Indian Forest Department has halted the railway track construction between Sanawad and Omkareshwar in Madhya Pradesh. The track is ready for trial run on July 15th, but the Forest Department's approval is pending. The railway department has promised to plant 10 times the number of trees that need to be cut down.
