The DRM also highlighted areas needing attention, including road widening at Hadapsar station, removal of encroachments at several stations, traffic congestion at Pune station, and improved access to Phursungi goods shed. A mega coaching terminal plan near Uruli station is being developed to connect the airport, bus terminal, metro, and city expansion plans.Mohol expressed support for improving facilities and infrastructure at Pune and Shivajinagar stations. He pledged assistance with obtaining necessary permissions and approvals for various projects. Mohol highlighted the need to explore connectivity between Pune and Mumbai, particularly with the new Mumbai Airport under construction. He also indicated a significant demand for Vande Bharat Express trains on routes from Pune to Jodhpur, Junagarh, and Keshavnagar.
