This RUB will connect to the Metro line under construction by BMRCL and will span four lanes. The MAR project, facing delays due to land acquisition issues, is expected to be completed soon. The RUB between Kenchenahalli and Hejjala railway stations will connect the Metro line to the two roads. The MAR project, spanning 10.75 km and costing ₹450 crore, is underway. This road will be 100 meters wide with 8 lanes, connecting all 9 blocks of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Layout and providing access to Magadi Road and Mysore Road. The project includes three underpasses, 35 small bridges, and the railway underbridge. Once completed, the MAR project will significantly reduce traffic congestion by linking the two roads. The approval of the RUB will enhance connectivity between Mysuru and Magadi Road, benefiting commuters and real estate prospects in the area.
