Currently, there are two railway lines between Secunderabad and Vijayawada: Kazipeta-Khammam and Bibi Nagar-Nadikudi. The new line, designed for 160 km/h speeds, will reduce the travel time between Secunderabad and Guntur to 2.5-3 hours. The current travel time between Secunderabad and Guntur is 5-6.5 hours. The new line will also benefit industries in Ramavaram, Jaggayyapeta, Mellcheruvu, John Pahad, Nadikudi, Vishnupuram, Narketpalli, and Chityala.

Guntur tak ka journey time 3 ghante tak aa jaayega. Abhi ek line ki wajah se trains ko wait karna padta hai, lekin doosra line banne ke baad yeh problem solve ho jaayegi. Secunderabad aur Vijayawada ke beech already do railway lines hain: Kazipeta-Khammam aur Bibi Nagar-Nadikudi. Naya line 160 km/h ki speed ke liye bana hai aur iske wajah se Secunderabad se Guntur ka journey time 2.5-3 ghante tak aa jaayega. Abhi journey time 5-6.5 ghante ka hai.
