Is shortage ko compensate karne ke liye, Indian Railways baki suppliers se order badhayega. Railways India ke goods transport ke liye bahut important hai, ye desh ke 27% goods ko apne vast network se transport karta hai. Financial year 2023-24 ke pehle 9 months mein, railways ne 1,154.67 million tonnes goods ko transport kiya, jo ki pichle saal ke same period ke 1,109.38 million tonnes se 4.1% zyada hai.
