The project aims to improve connectivity and freight/passenger transportation in the northeast, benefiting Meghalaya and the wider region.

hai, jisko stage by stage commission kiya ja raha hai. Is new section ne, pehle wale sections ke saath, New Bongaigaon se Azara tak Goalpara via double-line route ko operational bana diya hai, jisse train operations fast aur frequent ho payengi. Is project ka aim hai northeast ki connectivity aur freight/passenger transportation ko improve karna, jisse Meghalaya aur puri region ko benefit hoga.
