The inquiry, conducted by Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety Janak Kumar Garg, will continue for several days, and statements from railway personnel and witnesses will be recorded. Separately, a GRP investigation has been initiated, alleging negligence by the loco pilot and co-loco pilot of the goods train. The death toll from the accident has risen to ten.

Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety Janak Kumar Garg yeh investigation kar rahe hain, yeh aage bhi chalti rahegi aur railway personnel aur eyewitnesses se statements liye jayenge. Alag se, GRP ne bhi investigation start kar di hai, goods train ke loco pilot aur co-loco pilot pe negligence ka arop laga kar. Accident mein death toll 10 tak pahunch gaya hai.
