Standard users can book a maximum of 12 tickets per month, while users with linked Aadhaar cards can book up to 24 tickets. IRCTC emphasizes that tickets booked using personal User IDs are meant only for personal use and cannot be sold for profit, which is illegal under the Railways Act, 1989.
