If and only if Mettupalayam/ Sathyamangalam to Chamarajamagar project is getting all green signals, this Chamarajanagar - Kollegal - Kanakapura - Bangalore line should be taken up. Else, this new line will not be a profitable one, as it will end at Chamarajajanagar, which is dead end of SWR MYS division.

This project is almost 100 years old, but nothing happened. Ditto for Nilambur Nanjangud line.
