Koderma station around 8 am, railway doctors and a female railway security officer attended to the woman and the newborn. The infant was then referred to the Koderma Sadar Hospital for further medical attention. The incident occurred between Pitambarpur and Koderma. The family, from Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, had boarded the train on Saturday afternoon, aiming to travel to Khori Mahua in Giridih district.
