break. They were supposed to return on June 18th. However, on Friday, a neighbor informed them that the door of their quarter was open. Upon receiving this information, they returned to the city on Saturday morning via the Chhapra-Tata Express. Upon arrival, they found the lock on the main gate broken, the door forced open, and the entire house in disarray. Thieves had broken open the almirah and stolen jewelry and cash. They also took away a TV, music system, table fan, jewelry, and Rs. 4,000 in cash. The thieves even emptied the children's piggy banks. According to Raju, the total loss due to the theft amounts to Rs. 1.50 lakh.
