Savitri Thakur, MP from Dhar-Mahou, visited Mahou after becoming a Union Minister for the first time. She was welcomed by BJP workers at various locations. MLA Usha Thakur and Rajya Sabha MP Kavita Patidar were present. From there, she went to Tantia Mama's temple in Patalpani. While interacting with the media, Savitri Thakur stated that during her previous tenure as MP, they had declared Mahou as Ambedkar Nagar and developed the railway station. The railway station is currently undergoing expansion and all trains currently departing from Indore will soon run from Ambedkar Nagar Mahou Railway Station. She also mentioned their ongoing efforts to establish a municipality in Mahou.

Media se baat karte hue, Savitri Thakur ne kaha ki pehle jab woh MP thi, to unhone Mahou ka naam Ambedkar Nagar ghosit kiya tha. Railway station ka bhi vikas karwaya hai. Abhi railway station ka kaam vistaar se kiya ja raha hai. Abhi jitni train Indore se chal rahi hai, woh sabhi train Ambedkar Nagar Mahou railway station se chalengi. Iske saath hi humara prayas jari hai. Wahan Mahou ko nagar palika bhi jaldi banane ka hum prayas kar rahe hai.
