The current overbridge, approved through the efforts of local MLA Rameshwar Sharma, is expected to be finished by the end of the year and alleviate the traffic issues caused by the level crossing. However, the project's slow progress is causing concerns for local businesses, whose operations have been significantly impacted. The overbridge, 765 meters long and 12.5 meters wide, will benefit residents of several nearby colonies, including CTO, Camp Number 12, Satyam Colony, Kailash Nagar, Pujashri Nagar, Devlok Colony, Mathai Nagar, and Data Colony, by providing easier access to and from Bairagarh. The total cost of the project is estimated at 27 crore rupees.
