Pune Metro: Line 3 Welcomes First ‘Made In India’ Trains For 23 Km Hinjewadi-Shivajinagar Stretch

The first train set for Pune Metro Line 3, a 23-km elevated corridor connecting Hinjewadi's IT hub with Shivajinagar, has arrived in Pune. The trains feature regenerative braking and a third rail system, and are designed for a speed of 85 km/h. Officials from PMRDA and Pune IT City Metro Rail Ltd. have emphasized the importance of safety and comfort for passengers. The remaining 21 train sets are expected to arrive within the next 6-8 months.
