initial 54.1 km of Chennai Metro, they have not contributed any funds for the second phase, which will add 118.9 km of metro lines, bringing the total to 170 km. Chief Minister Stalin appealed to Prime Minister Modi for funding, but the central government has not allocated any funds. The people of Tamil Nadu are urging the central government to provide adequate funding for the Chennai Metro project's second phase.

government ne pehle banaye gaye 54.1 km metro ke liye funding di thi, lekin unhone dusre phase ke liye koi paisa nahi diya hai. Dusre phase se 118.9 km metro lines aayegi, aur total 170 km ho jaayega. Chief Minister Stalin ne Prime Minister Modi se funding ke liye appeal ki thi, lekin central government ne abhi tak koi fund allocate nahi kiya hai.
