The train driver and conductor confirmed that Mubarak was attempting to board the train without a ticket when the accident occurred. The train was halted immediately after the incident. Meanwhile, in a separate incident, Bhaptiyahi police apprehended a man named Mohammad Naushad for consuming liquor in Jilladumari panchayat.

Local logon ke according, Mubarak Saudi Arabia se teen din pehle wapas aaya tha aur woh jaldi se train pakadne ke chakkar mein train pe chadhne ki koshish kar raha tha, jisse yeh accident ho gaya. Uske family ko bahut dukh hua, uski biwi Bibi Shabana Khatoon aur uski maa Jaheda Khatoon ka to rona hi ruk nahi raha tha. Train driver aur conductor ne confirm kiya ki Mubarak bina ticket ke train pe chadhne ki koshish kar raha tha jab yeh accident hua. Train ko incident ke baad turant rok diya gaya. Iske alawa, Bhaptiyahi police ne Jilladumari panchayat mein shaarab peene ke liye Mohammad Naushad ko arrest kar liya.
