city. Namma Metro services were disrupted on the Purple Line between MG Road and Indiranagar due to a tree branch falling on the track after Trinity station. The BMRCL is working to clear the branch and resume normal operations. Metro services are operating between Indiranagar and Whitefield and between MG Road and Challaghatta. This incident highlights the vulnerability of the Metro system to tree falls, as a similar incident occurred in 2018, disrupting services for 90 minutes. In April 2024, BMRCL had floated a tender to trim around 750 tree branches along the Purple and Green Lines as part of their pre-monsoon exercise.

uproot ho gaye aur 128 shakhaein giri hain. Purple Line par MG Road aur Indiranagar ke beech Namma Metro services band reh gayi kyuki Trinity station ke baad ek ped ki shakha track par gir gayi. BMRCL is shakha ko hataane aur normal operations shuru karne ki koshish kar raha hai. Metro services Indiranagar aur Whitefield ke beech aur MG Road aur Challaghatta ke beech chal rahi hain. Ye incident Metro system ke ped girne ki vulnerability ko dikhaati hai, jaisa ki 2018 mein bhi aisa hua tha, jisse services 90 minutes ke liye band reh gayi thi. April 2024 mein, BMRCL ne pre-monsoon exercise ke taur par Purple aur Green Lines ke aaspas 750 pedon ki shakhaon ko trim karne ke liye tender nikala tha.
