The 32 retirees included 6 from the Operations department, 11 from Engineering, 8 from Electrical, 4 from Mechanical, 1 from Medical, 1 from Personnel, and 1 from Signal and Telecom. The Assistant Personnel Officer congratulated the retirees on their service and wished them a happy retirement. Separately, on World No Tobacco Day, the Brahma Kumaris organization organized an anti-drug spiritual exhibition at the inter-state bus terminal Bhatagaon and Railway Station Raipur. The exhibition was inaugurated by MLA Rajesh Moont, Additional Collector Nidhi Sahu, Chief Station Manager N.K. Sahu, and Brahma Kumaris Savita Didi. MLA Motilal Sahu and Brahma Kumaris Savita Didi inaugurated the exhibition at Bhatagaon. MLA Moont praised the exhibition, stating that awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco and alcohol is crucial to prevent the next generation from using them. He commended the Brahma Kumaris for raising awareness about substance abuse. Additional Collector Sahu mentioned the exhibition's scientific analysis of the negative impacts of substance abuse on individuals and society and its promotion of strong life values. Chief Station Manager Sahu emphasized the detrimental effects of drugs on human life and praised the exhibition for highlighting these effects. Divisonal Commercial Manager Rakesh Singh noted the negative effects of tobacco and its products on the body and mind, and praised the Brahma Kumaris' efforts to raise awareness. MLA Motilal Sahu at Bhatagaon highlighted the need to free people from substance abuse to build a healthy society and commended the Brahma Kumaris' efforts. Brahma Kumaris Savita Didi, head of the Raipur center, emphasized the sacredness of the human body, comparing it to a temple and urging against defilement through substance abuse. She advised parents to avoid keeping drugs at home and to set a positive example for their children by abstaining from vices. Mahesh Dodavani, managing director of Mahachakra Industries, donated four new wheelchairs to Raipur Railway Station for senior citizens and the disabled.
