They inspected various aspects including ongoing construction of a new foot over bridge, platform work, holding areas for passengers, safety measures, cleanliness, lighting, and easy access for passengers to the station and its premises. The DRM emphasized the need to ensure smooth passenger management during the Kumbh Mela, considering the expected surge in passenger traffic. He also stressed the importance of beautifying stations and their premises, creating a green environment, and improving the overall condition of station buildings. Additionally, the DRM gave instructions on safety measures at unmanned level crossings on the Lucknow-Prayagraj railway line. The inspection also included evaluating the widening of the 2-lane railway overbridge at the Lucknow end of Fafamau yard and the 12-meter wide foot overbridge connecting the main entrance and the second entrance for the differently-abled at Prayagraj junction.
