Gwalior MEMU Train:

A MEMU train travelling from Gwalior to Jaura was stalled for over an hour between Rayaru and Banmor village stations due to an overhead electric (OHE) line fault. The train departed from Gwalior at 11:15 am but was stranded due to the OHE issue. Initially, the problem was assumed to be...

with the engine, prompting the preparation of a replacement engine from Gwalior. However, the actual cause was identified as an OHE fault, resulting in repair work. The train was finally able to depart for Jaura after 1 pm. Passengers endured the scorching heat during the delay. Meanwhile, a mega ticket checking drive was conducted at various stations under the Jhansi railway division. During this operation, 2931 passengers without tickets were apprehended across different trains, leading to the collection of a fine exceeding 22 lakhs. The ticket checking staff, including RPF, actively participated in the operation, ensuring the enforcement of fines. Despite various attempts to evade the checks, including excuses of rushing to catch the train and requests to contact acquaintances in the railway administration, no attempts proved successful.

Dopahar ek baje ke baad train Jaura ke liye chalaa jaa saki. Is samay train mein baithe huye passengers garmi se pareshan hote nazar aaye. Iske saath, Jhansi rail mandal ke alag-alag stations pe ek mega ticket checking drive chalaaya gaya. Isme different trains se 2931 binaires ticket passengers pakde gaye aur unse 22 lakhs se zyada ka fine vasul kiya gaya. Ticket checking staff, including RPF, ne is operation mein actively part liya aur fine lagaaya.
