the 'Amrit Bharat Station Scheme', as Ghatshila is a significant station on the Howrah-Mumbai rail route and is near Jamshedpur, an industrial city, and a popular tourist destination. There is also a master plan for the redevelopment of Ghatshila station, costing over ₹31 crore. Additionally, seven railway stations in the Chakradharpur division, including Gamharia, Chakradharpur, Badampahar, Rajagangpur, Bara Jamda, Jhinkpani, and Lotapahar, will also receive foot overbridges, with construction already underway.

Local logo ne Ghatshila station pe foot overbridge ki demand par kai baar letter likhe aur protest bhi kiya tha. Ghatshila Amrit Bharat station scheme me shamil hai, isliye South Eastern Zone ye foot overbridge banwa raha hai. Ghatshila Howrah-Mumbai rail route pe hai, aur yeh industrial city Jamshedpur ke paas hone ke saath ek popular tourist destination bhi hai. Yaha dusre state ke log Phuldungri ki pahadi, Burudih bandh, Dharagiri jharna aur Narva van kshetra ke bhraman ke liye aate hain. Ghatshila station ke punarvikash ka master plan tayyar hai, jisme 31 crore se zyada kharch ka prastav hai. Yaatri ki suvidha ke liye Chakradharpur mandal ke Kolhan aur Odisha ke 7 railway stations pe foot overbridge banane ka order hua hai, jisse yaatriyo ko ek se dusre platform par aane jaane ke liye line cross na karna pade.
