The BBMP has permitted the felling of 2,098 trees and the transplantation of 178 trees. K-RIDE has deposited Rs 8.07 crore for compensatory afforestation, planting 22,760 trees in various locations within the city limits. The BBMP's Tree Expert Committee (TEC) closely monitors tree-cutting permissions, requiring physical inspection of each tree before granting permission. The BBMP will also maintain the saplings.

BBMP ne 2,098 pedon ko kaatne aur 178 pedon ko transplant karne ki permission de di hai. K-RIDE ne compensatory afforestation ke liye Rs 8.07 crore deposit kiye hain, aur city limits ke andar alag-alag jagah pe 22,760 ped lagaaye jaa rahe hain. BBMP ka Tree Expert Committee (TEC) ped kaatne ki permission ko dhyaan se dekhta hai, aur har ped ki physical inspection ki jaati hai permission dene se pehle. BBMP saplings ki maintenance bhi karega.
