Junction, jo ki ek historical station hai aur jiska renovation chal raha hai, ko downgrade kiya ja raha hai. Locals ko travel cost badhne aur Gadag Junction ke revenue mein kami ki chinta hai. SWR officials ka kehna hai ki abhi koi final decision nahin liya gaya hai aur trains ko Bypass station se tabhi chalaaya jaayega jab waha pe proper infrastructure ho jaayega.
