Express. This will cater to the high demand for travel between the two cities, especially during peak seasons. Currently, the only train connecting the cities is the Amraktak Express, which runs via Katni and is often fully booked. The railway is also considering introducing other special trains, including one between Jabalpur and Ujjain/Shirdi, and another between Raipur and Prayagraj/Banaras.
