Jabalpur station was dispatched to fix the issue. Repair work began at 6:30 PM and continued until late at night. The disruption impacted numerous passenger trains, with some trains delayed and others rerouted. While the OHE was being repaired, several trains including the Bhopal Intercity, Janata Express, and Shridham were affected. The OHE wire was repaired and train services were restored after six hours.
