95 km/h ki speed se chal sakti hai, jisse travel time kam ho gaya hai aur service bhi improve hui hai. Project ko January 2016 mein approve kiya gaya tha, Degana-Rai Ka Bagh section pehle hi complete ho chuka tha. Doubling se railway aur passengers dono ko bahut benefit mila hai, jaise ki new trains ke liye capacity badh gaya hai aur trains ab pehle se zyada jaldi chal sakti hai kyunki ab unhe doosri trains ke pass hone ka wait nahi karna padta.
